Irene Fong and the Floating Ball

Irene has performed with the Sounds of Silk string quartet as a founding member for over ten years, was a member of the Philadelphia Young Artists Orchestra, and attended the Temple University Preparatory music program for young musicians. After receiving a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, she has continued on to collaborate with artists of various genres including Spectacle Performers, Circus Acts, Hip-Hop, House, Classical, Jazz, and Pop. Lissome Ladies

Sara Joel was an original cast member of Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity. She co-choreographed the Body2Body act which she performed in Las Vegas from 2003-2006. A version of this act was featured in CDS's Solstrom on Bravo. After returning to NYC in 2006 (and having a baby!) Sara continued to choreograph and perform for CDS Special Events nationally and internationally. Mrs. Joel's underwater dance film 'Rapt' opened Lincoln Center's Dance on Camera Festival in 2007.

Anna Venizelos, also a former Cirque du Soleil artist, was part of the Quidam Asia-Pacific tour 2004-2006 and the North America tour from 2006-2007. She first performed as part of the aerial hoop trio and then as a soloist in the contortion in silks. As of 2007 she has become more a creature of the earth, creating and performing a floor-based contortion duet with her sister, Emily. It was through this endeavor that she and Sara began working together, collaborating on various projects both corporate and artistic. Anna has also worked as a contortionist/stunt performer in several feature films.

Sara and Anna enjoy working with photographers Lois Greenfield and Howard Schatz.
Anna and Sara have been represented by Dance Gotham. Their work has been presented at Symphony Space and DTW.

Nuttin But Stringz

Brothers Damien and Tourie Escobar a/k/a Nuttin’ But Stringz are everything the music game’s been missing. Armed with classical sounds of the violin —yes, violins—retro-fitted with Hip-Hop and Rock beats, the South Jamaica, Queens natives bring a sophisticated twist to the musical landscape. With their music leading the way, the Escobar brothers are simultaneously seeing their brand become a global phenomenon—already Nuttin’ But Stringz (NBS) has won a pair of Emmy Awards, scored feature films, released a platinum album; and they’re only just getting started.

“We perform like Rock stars,” explains Damien, 24, the younger sibling by two years. ”We call it Urban because it’s that Hip-Hop feel; we have the groove from the street. It has a heavy Classical undertone. The perfect marriage, we call it Urban Rock.”
